Prayer Requests

It is our goal to be a praying people. We have several ways people can get involved in prayer ministry at First Baptist, St Johns. Please click on the option(s) below for further information.

Share A Prayer Request.
There are times when we share requests with everyone we know, and there are also times when we prefer to share requests with a smaller circle of prayer warriors. Please select the group you would like to have praying with you below.

Click Here to send a prayer request that can be added to the Wednesday night prayer sheet, and emailed to our Prayer Ministry Team, including all pastors, non-vocational elders, and deacons.

To become part of this ministry team, each participant is required to be a regular attender of FBC St Johns. If you would like to become part of our Prayer Ministry Team and have an email sent regularly (perhaps daily) with prayer requests like these, please sign up. Click Here

Click Here to send a prayer request that only our Pastors, Elders and Deacons can see and each will receive an email with your prayer request.

Click Here to send a prayer request that only our Pastors/Elders can see and each will receive an email with your prayer request.

Click Here to send a prayer request to our Pastors. Each Pastor will receive an email with your prayer request. These requests will be confidential and can only be seen by our pastors.

The Prayer Ministry Team consists of people who have committed to pray for those requests submitted through our web site. As prayer requests are submitted each day, each request is collated into an email that will be sent to team members the following day.
Any prayer requests that have a greater urgency will be more quickly dealt with.

Click here if you'd like to receive those emails and keep up to date on the prayer needs of our people.

The Prayer Chain, functions very much like you probably imagine. This is a group of people who when a prayer request is submitted to the leader of our prayer chain (Sharon Ashenfelter), that prayer request is relayed by phone to a network of people who can pray together for each request. If you would like to join this team, contact the church office.
