Introduction
We believe baptism and church membership are vital expressions of a believer’s discipleship and essential means of spiritual growth. Baptism by immersion is an act of obedient faith following conversion, publicly declaring one’s union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection, and bearing witness to the grace of God in salvation.
Church membership is the believer’s committed participation in the life of a local body of Christ. It establishes a covenant relationship of mutual accountability under spiritual leadership and among fellow believers, and it unites us in the shared mission of making disciples of all nations.
For those interested in baptism and membership here at FBC, we hold classes twice each year (April & Sept). We ask that you attend all four membership classes. Each class will occur during our Sunday school hour at 9:15 am.
