Our Theological Vision for Ministry

Our ministry is not driven by preference or trend, but by theological conviction. What follows is the vision that shapes how we live, serve, and make Christ known.

Our Motive:

The Supremacy of God in Christ

Our Mission:

To glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by exalting Him in worship, evangelizing the lost in our community and around the world, edifying believers through the ministry of the Word, and equipping the saints for works of service.

Our Vision:

Our vision is nothing less than all of Christ for all the world—that He might be known and worshiped in every place and across the whole domain of human existence.

1.   A Church that Exalts the King

Our vision is a church captivated by the glory of Christ—where worship overflows from hearts that know His greatness and every gathering pulses with gratitude for His redeeming grace.

2.   A Church that Equips the Mind

We aim to be a people shaped by Scripture, viewing the biblical storyline not just as the way to heaven, but as the true story of the whole world, giving us clarity on our origin, our brokenness, and our ultimate hope.

3.   A Church that Engages the World

We envision a church that rejects the divide between sacred and secular, recognizing that Christ is Lord over every sphere of life and that His gospel has implications for every facet of our existence—from science and the arts to ethics and law. We dream of commissioning believers who will carry this message into homes, workplaces, schools, prisons, neighborhoods, state capitols, and unreached people groups, as we strive together for the advancement of the gospel among all peoples until the day of His return.

Our Core Commitments: “the 12 E’s”

I.       Expository Preaching: We are committed to teaching the whole counsel of God clearly, faithfully, and energetically, believing that Christ’s cause advances through the faithful exposition of His Word.

II.      Evangelical Faith: We are committed to the gospel of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, for the glory of God alone, rejecting any distortion that adds human merit.

III.      Evangelistic Fervor: We are committed to investing ourselves and our resources in compassionate, whole-person ministry—walking with people in their spiritual and physical realities—so that the gospel may be displayed, proclaimed, and embraced in repentance and faith by the Spirit’s power.

IV.     Eager Welcome: We are committed to receiving all whom Christ has received, of all abilities and circumstances, and to value each one as a treasured recipient of His grace and an essential member of His body.

V.      Effective Discipleship: We are committed to pursuing Christ-centered spiritual growth through a dynamic culture of teaching, mentoring, counseling, fellowship, accountability, and care as we equip one another to follow Him fully.

VI.    Elevated Ethics: We are committed to embodying the ethics of Christ in our lives and ministry. We embrace our mandate to be a prophetic voice, standing up for the innocent, the vulnerable, and the voiceless, upholding human dignity in a disordered world.

VII.   Exalted Callings: We are committed to integrating the sacred with the secular, seeing our daily vocations, creative endeavors, civic duties, and family responsibilities as holy assignments to be undertaken for the good of the Church, the flourishing of our communities, and the renewal of our culture.

VIII.  Examined Leadership: We are committed to a leadership model in which biblically-qualified elders faithfully shepherd our congregation while deacons faithfully serve and the congregation actively participates in discerning and affirming the church’s direction under Christ’s headship.

IX.     Excellent Stewardship: We are committed to honoring God’s generosity to us by stewarding our financial and physical resources with wisdom, gratitude, and transparency, giving generously to the work of the gospel and using all that He has entrusted to us for the glory of Christ.

X.      Enthusiastic Worship: We are committed to offering every part of our lives and ministry to the sovereign rule of Jesus Christ, gladly and without reservation, recognizing Him as the Head of the Church and the King of creation.

XI.     Earnest Prayer: We are committed to saturating every endeavor in prayer, humbly confessing our dependence upon God and trusting Him to empower our witness, mature His people, and renew our society.

XII.   Expansive Vision: Compelled by Christ’s authority and love, we commit ourselves to labor for the advancement of His kingdom among all peoples until the day of His return.

Our Rallying Cry:

“All of Christ for All the World!”
